About Me
My Writing Journey
Stories have always been my escape, my comfort, and my courage. From high school classics to the characters I create today, writing has been my way of making sense of the world.
The Beginning: High school classics like A Tale of Two Cities, The Count of Monte Cristo, and Death of a Salesman. Those stories opened the door to endless adventures and emotions, inspiring me to create a world through my own eyes.
First Spark: My very first piece of writing was a play for my church, sparked by a simple poem I had written — and from that moment on, I knew writing would always be a part of me.
Over the years, I found joy in writing poetry for every occasion, capturing the emotions of those around me. Writing became both an outlet and a way to share pieces of myself with others.
Writing Today: Finding Renee
During the pandemic, I challenged myself to take the leap and write my first novel — an experience that was both deeply difficult and incredibly rewarding. That leap of faith became my debut novel, Finding Renee, a heartfelt story of friendship, love, and reinvention.
The process taught me not only discipline and persistence but also how powerful stories can be when they reflect the real struggles and triumphs of life.
