As a young teenager, I was blessed to experience productions like The Wiz and Your Arms Too Short to Box with God with my church youth group. At the time, I had no idea those performances would quietly plant the seeds for what would later become my passion for storytelling.
When I was sixteen, I experienced my first heartbreak. I couldn't find the words to express how I felt, so I wrote my feelings down. Before I knew it, those emotions had become my very first poem.
My mother became one of my greatest encouragers. She believed in my writing long before I believed in myself and continually encouraged me to keep putting pen to paper.
I was too young to understand what it meant that God is speaking to you, but He did. Out of nowhere, I had a burning desire to write a skit for my church's youth department. It was the 1980s, and I sat down at the baby blue typewriter I had received for Christmas the year before. It took countless hours, but I eventually wrote, produced, and directed my very first skit.
Looking back, I can see that moment differently. What I thought was simply an idea became the beginning of a calling that has stayed with me throughout my life.
I never stopped writing. Whether it's a novel, a poem, a screenplay, or a story waiting patiently in my imagination, there has always been another story inside me, waiting for the right moment to come alive.
I write stories about friendship, forgiveness, healing, and second chances because life has taught me that even our most difficult seasons can produce something beautiful.
My hope is that every reader finds a character who feels familiar, a moment that brings hope, and a reminder that no matter where life has taken them, there is always room for healing, growth, and a new beginning.
Today, I continue to write stories that celebrate the strength, resilience, and everyday triumphs of women. Through my novels, A. Renee Media, and my publishing services, I'm committed to helping stories find their voices—whether they're my own or someone else's.
As I continue to grow as an author and storyteller, my mission remains the same: to create meaningful stories that inspire hope, encourage healing, and remind readers that every ending can become the beginning of something new.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you'll explore my books, follow my journey, and become part of the A. Renee Media family. Welcome, friend.
